In this animated short film I want to immerse myself in the carnival, that universe where the real is dressed in dreams and the masks are transformed into mirrors. Through him, I try to decipher my father, follow the threads of his history, entangled with the shadow of his own father, with the roots that sustain him and the traditions that inhabit him. The story is a poetic puzzle: fragments of time, memory, identity that are confused as colors in the air. I don't want to tell a linear story, but to offer a sensory journey, where the echoes of her past are mixed with my memories and the imagination I drew as a child.
